Dear FOIA Officer,
I am writing to request records under the Freedom of Information Act (5 U.S.C. 552).
In 2022, the Commission of Fine Arts granted two FOIA requests as full grants. I am requesting copies of the original FOIA requests and the full grant letters for these two cases. Please note that I am not seeking the responsive records, only the original FOIA requests and the full grant letters.
As an “all other requester,” I understand that I may be charged fees for search, duplication, and review. I am willing to pay up to a maximum of $5.00 for processing this request. Please notify me if the costs will exceed this amount before proceeding.
Please note that I am not requesting a fee waiver or expedited processing for this request.
If my request is denied in whole or part, I ask that you justify all deletions by reference to specific exemptions of the act. I will also expect you to release all segregable portions of otherwise exempt material. I reserve the right to appeal your decision to withhold any information.
Should you have any questions about handling this request, you may contact me at the above address.
Thank you for your consideration of this request.
Yours in service of the republic,
Acknowledgement
