Dear FOIA Officer,

Under the Freedom of Information Act (5 U.S.C. 552), I am requesting access to or copies of the Defense Commissary Agency’s (DeCA) FOIA annual reports for the years 2011 through 2023, and the FOIA logs for the calendar years 2021, 2022, and 2023.

If there are any fees for searching or copying these records, please inform me if the cost will exceed five dollars. However, I would also like to request a waiver of all fees in that the disclosure of the requested information is in the public interest and will contribute significantly to the public understanding of the operations and activities of the government.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes. In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
