Subject: Freedom of Information Act Request
Dear FOIA Officer,
I am writing to request records under the Freedom of Information Act (5 U.S.C. 552).
- Records of Investigations: I request access to and copies of all records related to contracts and grants referred for investigation, review, inquiry, or scrutiny by the Office of Inspector General (OIG) due to potential, alleged, or confirmed fraud, waste, or abuse. This request covers the period from January 1, 2020, to December 31, 2023.
- Occupancy/Vacancy Rates: Additionally, I seek records regarding the monthly occupancy and vacancy rates for the agency’s five largest buildings from January 1, 2020, to December 31, 2022.
As an “all other requester,” I understand that I may be charged fees for search, duplication, and review. I am willing to pay up to a maximum of $5.00 for processing this request. Please notify me if the costs will exceed this amount before proceeding.
Please note that I am not requesting a fee waiver or expedited processing for this request.
If my request is denied in whole or part, I ask that you justify all deletions by reference to specific exemptions of the act. I will also expect you to release all segregable portions of otherwise exempt material. I reserve the right to appeal your decision to withhold any information.
